Transformative agreements
These agreements allow open access publishing (without the need for a separate APC payment) in a select group of journals from a given publisher, all through one centrally negotiated contract.
- Springer Nature and the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information have concluded a transformative agreement (for the period 2023-2026), which will allow scientists from public universities and the Slovak Academy of Sciences to publish in open access mode in the journals of the Springer Nature publishing house.

- Elsevier and the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information have concluded a transformative agreement (for the period 2023-2026), which will allow scientists from fourteen public universities and the Slovak Academy of Sciences to publish in open access mode in OA gold and hybrid journals of Elsevier without having to pay APC fees. The agreement is in effect from 4. 10. 2023 and is valid for the range of selected magazines.

Financial support for publishing in scientific journals

The financial support is given to the employees of Faculty of Pharmacy to support the publication of their articles in renowned publishing houses. The application for financial support is submitted in writing by the applicant with 100% working time at Faculty of Pharmacy, in the position of first or shared first or corresponding author, while the official address of the workplace is given as the author's only affiliation. The application also includes a copy of the document from the publisher about the fee for publishing the work together with the decision to accept the work for publication.
