Program:

1.      Computer security. E-mail communication, faculty e-mail, AIS2 and Moodle application. (22.09.2026)

2.      Physical and logical organization of data on computer storage media. Files, directories and their properties. Explorer (Windows Explorer), file manager Total Commander (TC), working with archive files in WinRAR. (29.09.2026)

3.      MS Word I. Text processing. Working with tables, merging and dividing cells, calculations in tables. Inserting objects into text, mathematical equations and expressions. (06.10.2026)

4.      MS Word II. Graphics in MS Word. Creating, editing and formatting graphs. Automatic document content. RTF and PDF formats. (13.10.2026)

5.      MS Excel I.  Calculations in tables. Working with absolute and relative cell addresses. (20.10.2026)

6.      MS Excel II. Sorting data ascending and descending. Subtotals. (27.10.2026)

7.      The first test of continuous control of study (from the exercises 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6). (03.11.2026)

8.      MS Excel III. Creating graphs in MS Excel. (10.11.2026)

9.      MS Excel IV. Excel procedures for experimental data analysis. (17.11.2026)

10.    MS Excel V. Histogram Analytical Tool. (24.11.2026)

11.    The second test of continuous control of study (from the exercises 8, 9 and 10). (01.12.2026)

12.    MS PowerPoint I. Creation of multimedia presentations. Inserting graphics, motion animations. Action buttons. (08.12.2026)

13.    Replacing exercises, consultations (15.12.2026)

 

Requirements for completion:

Obligatory participation of students on all exercises.

Continuous appreciation: 2 tests.

Conclusive appreciation: after successful accomplishment of all exercises and tests – practical examination.
