DISSEMINATION MEETING OF THE OEMONOM PROJECT + INTENSE LEARNER MEETING ON VITAMINS ("ILM 2023")

THE AIM of the weekly intensive study programme is to give the students a detailed overview on the topic of vitamins with emphasis on natural and food occurrence, stability in food, symptoms of deficiency, therapeutic use, crucial pharmacokinetic data, and potential toxicity.

 

THE INTENSIVE STUDY PROGRAMME is intended for students of the partner organizations. Each of them will nominate 2 students who will benefit from the outcomes of the project and will have a unique opportunity to intensively learn about vitamins as well as to spend a week together with other foreign students of pharmacy or other biomedical disciplines from other partner institutions.

PARTICIPATION is fully covered by the programme. For the selected students, travel costs, accommodation, meals and travel insurance (we strongly recommend to check a validity of the European Health Insurance Card early enough) will be covered as per the project guidelines. Students buy travel tickets and insure themselves; travel costs and insurance will then be reimbursed by the "ILM 2023" organizer. Accommodation and meals will be provided by the "ILM 2023" organizer.

FOR THE INTENSIVE STUDY PROGRAMME CAN APPLY students of pharmacy ("ILM 2023" is recommended for the Master Degree students of second to fourth year of study and for doctoral students of all years of study) or other biomedical disciplines, studying in Master or doctoral programmes at one of the partner universities.

"ILM 2023" - INTENSIVE STUDY PROGRAMME

PROGRAMME:

During the week-long intensive study programme, students attend lectures and seminars; they will be able to verify the acquired knowledge in several tests in MOODLE.

The professional programme shall be supplemented by an accompanying social programme.

"ILM 2023" - REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION AND SELECTION OF THE APPLICANTS

PARTICIPATION IN THE "ILM 2023":

To participate in the intensive study program, the student must successfully pass the selection procedure.

Each applicant must unconditionally submit required documents, to be assessed by a selection committee:

  • Letter of Intent 
  • Curriculum vitae 

Both documents are required to be hand in in English and must contain the most basic information: year of study, form of study, contact e-mail address and phone included

 

SELECTION CRITERIA:

As being the "ILM 2023" activity organized within the Erasmus+ programme, for candidates the same Selection Criteria for Student Mobility for the Academic Year 2022/2023 are valid. To advance to the selection procedure, each applicant must reach 15 points at least.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE:

    The date of the selection procedure is on November 8, 2022.

    2 participants of the intensive study program will be selected by the selection committee and 2 alternates.

    Subsequently, both, selected nominees and alternates will be contact be an e-mail. Selection procedure results will be published on the faculty website of the project.  

    In further, both nominated students will be contact by the "ILM 2023" organizer, by Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové.

    If any unpredictible reasons will occur, nominanted student must notify this fact without delay. The candidate will be replaced by a student who finished third (or fourth) in the selection procedure.
