KEGA 022UK-4/2015: Special educational program "Advanced methods of liquid chromatography with on-line mass spectroscopy application in pharmaceutical and biomedical research" lecture notes for master and docoral studies

The main focus of this project is composed of handbook summarizing the current published findings in three interrelated areas:

(i) the advanced methods of liquid chromatography with an emphasis on on-line sample preparation techniques and two-dimensional liquid
chromatography,

(ii) mass spectrometry as a detection technique, and

(iii) the methods based on the combinations the aforementioned. These methods provide a reliable, highly sensitive and selective analytical approaches of biologically active substances, key for monitoring complex mixtures of biological, pharmaceutical and herbal character. This basic theoretical background combined with the latest innovative technology apporoaches that will be implemented in textbooks, in view of their analytical significance of the necessary and urgent demand for education represents major concerns of master and doctoral studies in the pharmaceutical and biomedical research area.
